European Transport services from Johnson's Haulage

Service

European Transport

Cross-border groupage and full loads, seamlessly cleared.

Overview

Regular scheduled departures across mainland Europe, with customs support arranged through approved partners for smooth post-Brexit trade.

Cross-border road freight lives or dies on paperwork. We prepare the documentation before the vehicle loads, so the delay risk sits with the ferry timetable rather than your entry.

In depth

European Transport services, explained.

Johnson's Haulage arranges scheduled European road freight services between the UK and mainland Europe — full loads (FTL), groupage (LTL) and temperature-controlled movements — with customs support arranged through approved partners. Post-Brexit, our combined transport-plus-customs coordination removes the paperwork headache and keeps your cross-border freight moving.

Scheduled UK–Europe groupage services

Weekly departures to and from France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland and Scandinavia — with fixed cut-off times and transit commitments. Groupage lets you ship a single pallet or part-load without paying full-trailer rates.

Dedicated European full loads (FTL)

Direct A-to-B full-load haulage across Europe on curtain-side, box, mega-trailer and temperature-controlled equipment. Ideal for time-sensitive, high-value or sensitive freight where groupage handling is not an option.

Post-Brexit customs — export, import and T1 transit

UK and EU declarations, T1 transit documents, CMRs and GVMS references are prepared through approved customs partners, who coordinate with border agents at Dover, Folkestone, Harwich, Killingholme, Calais, Dunkerque and Rotterdam so vehicles clear without unnecessary delay.

Temperature-controlled and specialist European loads

Chilled and frozen trailers, dual-compartment reefers, high-value secure and double-decker mega-trailers can all be sourced on our European lanes through carriers holding the relevant approvals, with progress updates throughout the movement.
