Pallet sizes and how they are priced

Pallet rates are driven by footprint, height and weight rather than a simple per-item charge. Quarter, half, light-full and full pallets each have their own band, and anything over standard height or weight moves into an oversize band. Giving accurate dimensions at quote stage is the single best way to avoid a post-delivery adjustment.

Service levels across the UK

Economy typically runs on a two to three working day transit, next-day covers most mainland postcodes when booked before the afternoon cut-off, and timed services deliver before 9am, 10am or 12pm where the destination allows. Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland carry extended transits which we confirm before you commit.

Packaging, labelling and refusals

Freight must be shrink-wrapped, stable and within the pallet footprint, with nothing overhanging. Poorly built pallets are the most common cause of damage and refusal at depot. We advise on presentation before collection so consignments are not turned away at the point of injection into the network.

Tracking and proof of delivery

Every consignment is barcoded and scanned through each depot. We monitor progress against the booked service and chase exceptions on your behalf rather than leaving you to call a network helpline, and POD is supplied after delivery.
